From June 9 to 14, 2024, Miami became the stage for a pioneering initiative aimed at boosting the internationalization and growth of Latin American startups. Sponsored by BID Lab and organized by Techno Art, the Miami LAC Gateway 2024 brought together 16 selected startups from Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, and Panama, chosen from over 250 applicants. This event marked a major milestone—the first time BID has launched an initiative of this scale in the United States, further strengthening ties between Latin America and the U.S.

Delego: Scalable Technology, Ready for the U.S.

During the program, José Manuel Nagel (CEO of Intelligis) and Jesús Sosa (Director of Strategic Alliances) presented Delego, our platform for managing field personnel or equipment, which is already optimizing operations in sectors such as healthcare, logistics, distribution, and technical services across Latin America.

Delego sparked strong interest among key ecosystem players due to its ability to optimize resources, automate route planning, assign tasks in real time, and generate actionable data. Its modular and scalable architecture makes it a solution ready to be deployed in U.S. operations.

Reflecting on the experience, José Manuel Nagel shared: “Events like Miami LAC Gateway open up a clear path for Latin American startups to access new markets with greater confidence and strategic support. At Delego, we remain committed to being a bridge that facilitates international growth and expansion for our clients.”

Strategic Visits and Key Connections

Throughout the week, attendees engaged in high-value meetings, including a visit to the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, a public-private organization focused on local economic development. Legal, financial, and operational support mechanisms for business expansion were explored, with follow-up steps scheduled with firms like PAGLAW to begin the U.S. incorporation process.

Intelligis also participated in a session with Univision / Televisa executives, where the "Media for Equity" initiative was introduced. The session included success stories of companies that accelerated their growth using this model, and featured a talk by Jorge Ramos on the transformative power of the Latino community in the U.S.

What’s Next

This marks the beginning of a new chapter for Delego. Expanding our platform internationally not only broadens our reach—it also strengthens our mission to deliver operational intelligence to companies seeking more efficiency, greater visibility, and real-time control in their field operations.
